Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) in Stoke-on-Trent. You will handle reactive and preventive maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate has apprentice NVQ Level 3 in Engineering and at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and the ability to read engineering drawings. Shift pattern rotates.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on site.
• Support ongoing projects and improvements.
• Work on equipment such as pressure vessels, furnaces, granulators/crushers and other manufacturing equipment.
