Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for nights at a well-established manufacturing site. You will diagnose electrical faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery, and support improvements while working a permanent night shift.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering qualification and have hands-on experience with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels. Training and overtime are available as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Hands-on Maintenance Engineer with relevant engineering qualifications.
• Willingness to work a permanent night shift and participate in training and overtime.

Responsibilities

Ideally Located: Preston, Blackburn, Chorley, Leyland, Blackpool, Wigan, Bolton, Burnley, ETC

Are you a Maintenance Engineer confident with electrical fault finding, looking to join an established manufacturing company offering a stable night shift role and the opportunity to work on a range of production machinery?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business where you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

The company operates within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the ongoing reliability of its plant and equipment.

This role would suit an Maintenance Engineer with Electrical experience, looking for a permanent night shift position.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and carrying out repairs across a range of production machinery.
• Support machinery installations, equipment improvements and preventative maintenance activities.
• Basic electrical fault finding on PLCs, control panels, motors, drives, sensors and automated systems.
• Monday to Friday - Night

The Person:
