Job summary

Corby plant is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well known FMCG Manufacturer where you can make a real impact. The role involves maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting site performance.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on production machinery, diagnose electrical faults including PLCs, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing or other fast-paced production environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors and control systems
• Proactive approach with a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults, including PLC-controlled equipment.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

We're partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Corby to recruit multiple Maintenance Engineers to join their established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in keeping operations running efficiently while contributing to ongoing improvements across the site.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting the site's operational performance.
