Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift role in Nottingham. The position offers a £59,000 salary with excellent benefits and a Panama 2/3, 4/5 shift pattern.

You will join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing facility, carrying out reactive maintenance, PPMs and continuous improvement with a skilled engineering team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Electrical OR mechanical bias considered.
• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or similar.
• Strong breakdown and fault-finding ability.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ex-Forces engineers with suitable transferable experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Completing PPMs and planned maintenance.
• Minimising production downtime.
• Identifying recurring faults and improving equipment reliability.
• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects.
• Working closely with production and the wider engineering team.
• Engines on a variety of conveyors, flow wrappers, mixers, ovens, cooling systems, slicers, bagging equipment and end-of-line packaging machinery.

Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, well-established FMCG manufacturer in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a high-paying permanent night shift, offering the stability of no rotating between days and nights alongside an attractive Panama shift pattern.

You will join a skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining a fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position involving reactive maintenance, PPMs, fault finding and continuous improvement across a wide variety of production and packaging equipment.

The company will consider engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias, providing you have strong maintenance and fault-finding experience within a manufacturing environment.
