Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Nights) for a growing food manufacturing site in Kent. You will work a 4 on, 4 off permanent night shift, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery to maximise uptime and site performance.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food or packaging environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills and proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding on production and packaging equipment.
• Mechanical maintenance and repairs on site machinery.
• Electrical isolations (LOTO) where required.
• Support continuous improvement projects to maximise uptime.
• Assist production to minimise downtime.

Requirements

• Maintenance Engineer experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or packaging environments
