Job summary

Magnet Recruit is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) in Preston for a FMCG & Beverage facility. Role follows a 4 on 4 off pattern with 2 days and 2 nights shifts. Salary is £53-56k plus benefits, plus potential bonus.

On-site training and development are emphasized as part of the package. The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with prior experience in a busy food manufacturing/FMCG environment and familiarity

Qualifications

• L3 or equivalent in Mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in busy Food Manufacturing / FMCG environment / Beverage.
• Experience with different packaging machinery would be beneficial.
• PLC experience is advantageous but not a necessity.

Magnet Recruit is working with a leading name within the Food manufacutring / FMCG sector. This organisation has invested heavily into its facility over the past 4/5 years, including over £50m worth of investment into new machinery and refurbishments across site.

We are looking at adding an electrical and a mechanical engineer to the team. With a dedicated L&D team on‑site, your personal and professional development is seen and heard on day 1.

About you?

• L3 or equivalent in Mechanical or electrical engineering
• Previous experience within a busy Food Manufacturing / FMCG environment / Beverage
• Experienced working with different Packaging machinery would be beneficial
• PLC experience is advantageous but not a neccesity
