Job summary

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a global manufacturing facility in Preston. You will work on advanced automated equipment, performing planned and reactive maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideally you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and have experience in high-speed production environments, with strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLCs, motors and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a high-speed manufacturing or process environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, control systems and inverters.
• Experience with instrumentation such as flowmeters, pressure transducers and level probes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: From £53,500 + excellent benefits

Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Days Off

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturer for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a state-of-the-art production facility.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on advanced automated manufacturing equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Experience within a high-speed manufacturing or process environment
