Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist engineering team at a major manufacturing facility in Gateshead. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment to keep systems safe, reliable and productive.

The role offers a continental shift pattern, ongoing training and development, and opportunities to work on large-scale automation projects within a growing engineering business.

Qualifikationen

• Time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• HNC (or higher) required.
• Strong electrical maintenance experience.
• Background in automation or automated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial drives.
• Experience fault finding on electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Manufacturing, industrial or process industry experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will join a specialist engineering team responsible for supporting a major manufacturing facility. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair activities on automated production equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and operational. Working within a fast-paced industrial environment, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will support continuous improvement initiatives, preventative maintenance programmes and equipment reliability.
