Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading manufacturing business in the Wakefield area (Featherstone). The role offers training and career development, including PLC and robotics training, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and a KPI-based bonus scheme.

Salary £54,000 per year, with an OTE above £60,000. Benefits include life assurance, pension match, share schemes and an extensive employee benefits package.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualification or equivalent (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above).
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-wide maintenance service, support and repairs to ensure production targets are met.
• Support machine set-up and changeovers to maintain quality and efficiency.

The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading listed manufacturing business, based in the Wakefield area (Featherstone). The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development including robotics and PLC training. Taking OTE of above £60,000 ++

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer

• Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained
• maintaining factory manufacturing machineryMonitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above
• Mechanical or Electrical
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
