Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a Monday-Friday, days-based role in the Barrow upon Soar area. The position offers a salary of £45,500, 42 hours per week, and 33 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent (NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• High degree of health & safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions; roles considered: Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-wide maintenance service, support production targets and repair machinery.
• Support machine set-up and changeovers to ensure quality standards and efficient changeovers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer;

Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery

Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
