Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd are supporting a market-leading FMCG business in the UK to recruit a Maintenance Engineer. You will help maintain a busy factory, executing reactive and planned maintenance and taking ownership of the workshop.

The role offers a path to leadership and attendance at regular pay reviews. Suitable candidates will have an electrical bias, Level 3 in electrical work, and experience in a multi-skilled environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled environment.
• Ability to fault-find on electrical and mechanical components.
• Work safely with food safety and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance to keep the factory running smoothly.
• Take ownership of workshop and provide support to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; read schematics and check I/O's/HMI screens.
• Work with an electrical bias and contribute to continuous improvement.
