Job summary

Maintenance Engineer role based in Mansfield within a busy manufacturing site. You will maintain and improve production machinery, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks to keep lines running.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements with the engineering team. The role rewards hands-on problem solving and a commitment to safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with PPM, breakdown maintenance and fault finding.
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• Injection moulding experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Responding to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Carrying out fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Supporting machinery improvements, modifications and installations.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability.
• Identifying opportunities to improve machinery performance and reduce recurring faults.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
