Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading, world-class manufacturing site in Leeds. This hands-on role covers reactive and planned maintenance across highly automated production equipment in a state-of-the-art facility.

The successful engineer will work a 4 on 4 off pattern (days and nights), focus on fault finding, improvements, and supporting CI projects, with ongoing training and career progression in a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required: City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance across process machinery and automated equipment.
• Working with more complex machinery and systems.
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Supporting continuous improvement and project work.
• Maintaining automated machinery and systems.
• Working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Minimising downtime and maximising machine performance.
