Job summary

Stirling Warrington is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-speed manufacturing site in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. The role operates on a 12-hour 4-on/4-off shift pattern, covering days and nights, with a hands-on focus on mechanical and electrical systems to sustain production.

You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and respond to breakdowns while supporting PUWER compliance and health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Strong engineering background in manufacturing.
• Ideally multi-skilled across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Electrical or electronic qualifications preferred but not essential.
• Good fault-finding and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance across the site to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to keep production running smoothly.
• Support Health, Safety and Environmental standards and assist with risk assessments and PUWER compliance.
• Deliver the site's Preventative and Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
• Work with colleagues to ensure planned workloads are achieved.

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well established manufacturer operating within a high speed, high volume production environment. This role works a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights.

This is a hands on position suited to an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across both mechanical and electrical systems and enjoys working in a busy production setting.

The RoleAs part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and preventative maintenance across the site, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime. You will also respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs efficiently to keep production running smoothly.

You will play an active role in supporting the site's Health, Safety and Environmental standards and will assist with risk assessments and PUWER compliance. The role also involves delivering the site's PPM schedule. Teamwork is important in this role, and you will work closely with colleagues to ensure planned workloads are achieved.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
