Nuclear Restoration Services is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to ensure the performance of plant systems at Dungeness. This role involves fault investigation, defect rectification, and adherence to safety protocols. Nuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations such as Berkeley, Bradwell, Chapelcross, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, Hunterston A, Oldbury, Sizewell A, Trawsfynydd, and Wylfa, as well as research sites Harwell and Winfrith. Additionally, NRS manages electricity generation at the Maentwrog hydroelectric plant. NRS Dounreay, a division of NRS, handles the clean-up and demolition of the former fast reactor research and development site.

The role is based on-site at Dungeness with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 07:25 to 17:00, ideal for those seeking a four-day work week.”
