Unknown is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its Engineering team. The role focuses on reducing downtime, carrying out planned maintenance and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will respond to machine breakdowns, execute preventive maintenance plans, and record tasks on an electronic reporting system, with 23-shift holiday benefits and onsite facilities included.

Qualifications

• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
• Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise downtime and improve long-term reliability.
• Execute the maintenance plan to work preventatively and reactively.
• Use root cause analysis tools and 5S methodologies.
• Support continuous improvement to engineer out persistent problems.
• Carry out routine planned preventive maintenance.
• Record all maintenance tasks on the electronic reporting system.
