The successful candidate will fault-find, perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, support site services, and uphold strict HSE

Responsibilities

• Fix machine faults as part of daily shift activity.
• Carry out preventive electrical or mechanical maintenance and safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive or planned scenarios.
• PPM on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure breakdowns are resolved promptly and PPM schedules are kept.
• Support project development.
• Adhere to HSE and company practices.
• Promote continuous improvement and proactive problem solving.

Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

Location: Bromborough, England, North West.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Salary: £45,000 p.a.

Working Hours: 8.45am - 5pm (days).

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Bromborough area, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer on days, working 8.45am - 5pm. The salary for the role is £45,000 p.a. They are open to either mechanical or electrical bias, as long as you have a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities. You must be apprentice trained in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
