Kinetic plc in Bromborough, North West, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for days with a permanent contract. The role offers a £45,000 p.a. salary and a standard day shift from 8.45am to 5pm.

Applicants should be apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical disciplines and have a solid manufacturing background with strong fault finding abilities. The successful candidate will fault-find, perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, support site services, and uphold strict HSE

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Solid manufacturing background with strong fault finding capabilities.
• Willing to work dayshift (8.45am–5pm) and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fix machine faults as part of daily shift activity.
• Carry out preventive electrical or mechanical maintenance and safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive or planned scenarios.
• PPM on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure breakdowns are resolved promptly and PPM schedules are kept.
• Support project development.
• Adhere to HSE and company practices.
• Promote continuous improvement and proactive problem solving.
