Job summary

Zebrec, a leading technical recruitment consultancy, presents a Maintenance Engineer opportunity with a client in a specialist engineering environment. You will maintain machine shop and assembly line equipment, including PC, PLC and CNC controlled machines, ensuring reliability and quality.

The role requires a minimum of two years in a machine shop setting and an engineering apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification. Automotive or aerospace exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years machine shop environment experience.
• Apprenticeship service in Engineering or a City & Guilds qualification in an Engineering related field (or equivalent)
• Exposure within automotive/aerospace components (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance on a full range machine shop and assembly line equipment including PC, PLC and CNC controlled machines
• Reacting quickly to faults and breakdowns.
• Carrying out routine servicing and quality inspections on the Machine shop CNC machinery and assembly equipment including PC, PLC controlled machines
