Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC/HNC/HND in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Manufacturing or CNC environment experience.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and maintenance skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge and mechatronics understanding.
• Experience with preventative and planned maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across production equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding to identify root causes.
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Working on CNC and other automated machinery.
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems and installations.
• Identifying, sourcing and ordering replacement components and spares.
• Collaborating with production operators, engineers and contractors.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and maintenance practices.
• Contributing to reliability, quality and continuous improvement culture.
• Liaising with external suppliers and contractors as needed.
