Job summary
Winbro is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at our Shepshed site to uphold the uptime and reliability of our fast-paced manufacturing plant. You will support the maintenance team in planned and reactive tasks, with a mechanical or electrical bias and a background in PC-based CNC tools.
The role emphasizes improving plant performance, logging repairs, and working within regulated environments, with benefits including 25 days holiday, a company pension via salary sacrifice, and life insurance at 3x
Qualifications
- Minimum HND level qualification with 2+ years’ experience maintaining PC-based CNC tools
- Experience with drive systems, EDM, Milling or VIPER Grinding; basic electrical knowledge required
- Knowledge of maintaining logs and working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Assist the maintenance team leader in daily activities
- Fix production breakdowns and perform Planned & Preventative Maintenance
- Monitor and improve plant performance; design workable solutions
- Ensure maintenance tasks align with the site schedule
- Maintain machine repair log using the FiiX system
- Carry out building maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
