Henry Blue invites applications for a Maintenance Engineer (Fluid Power) Tutor Assessor in the West Midlands. You will train apprentices, delivering practical workshop sessions and classroom teaching in hydraulics, pneumatics and fault finding.

No teaching experience is required as full training is provided, with a permanent full-time role and a strong emphasis on professional development. The role suits someone with a solid maintenance background and hands-on hydraulics/pneumatics experience,

Qualifications

• Strong hydraulics and pneumatics background.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and fault finding.
• Familiar with pumps, valves, actuators and compressors.
• Good communication skills.
• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Or Above) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical workshop training for apprentices.
• Lead classroom sessions and teach maintenance engineering with focus on hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Provide fault finding and diagnostics training to learners.
• Support students' learning and development in a real-world setting.

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong Fluid Power knowledge to help train engineering apprentices.

You'll deliver practical workshop training alongside classroom sessions, teaching maintenance engineering with a focus on hydraulics, pneumatics and fault finding.

No teaching experience is required. Full training will be provided.

We're looking for experience in:

• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Mechanical maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Pumps, valves, actuators and compressors
• Preventative and reactive maintenance

You'll ideally have:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Or Above)
• Strong maintenance background
• Good communication skills

Teaching and assessor qualifications are desirable but can be gained once you're in the role.
