Job summary

Henry Blue is recruiting for a General Maintenance Engineering Tutor Assessor in Shropshire. You will teach practical maintenance skills to engineering apprentices, support learner development and carry out workplace assessments, combining daily engineering activity with training responsibilities.

No previous teaching experience is required as the role includes fully funded teacher training; you will benefit from excellent workshop facilities, a supportive team and a clear path to career

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering qualification or above required.
• Strong maintenance engineering background.
• Good communication skills.
• Passion for helping others develop.

Responsibilities

• Teach practical maintenance skills to engineering apprentices.

Looking for a new challenge away from shift work?

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to move into training and assessment.

Working with engineering apprentices, you'll teach practical maintenance skills, support learner development and carry out workplace assessments.

No previous teaching experience is necessary.

We're looking for experience in:

• Mechanical maintenance
• Electrical maintenance
• Fault finding
• Preventative maintenance
• Reactive maintenance
• Health & Safety within engineering

Experience with PLCs or automation would be beneficial but isn't essential.

You'll need:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Or Above)
• Strong maintenance engineering background
• Good communication skills
• Passion for helping others develop
