Job summary

Boston Rose in Birmingham is seeking an Engineering Trainer (Fluid Power) to join their engineering training team on a full‑time, permanent basis.

You will deliver hands-on workshop training to Mechanical Engineering learners up to level 3 at the provider's dedicated training centre in Birmingham, covering Mechanical Maintenance and Fluid Power. The role offers an up to £40,000 salary, a pension, health plan, 34 days holiday and an early Friday finish at 1pm.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Hands-on maintenance and fluid power experience.
• Over 6 years of post-apprenticeship industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workshop-based training to Mechanical Engineering learners (up to level 3) at the provider's dedicated engineering training centre in Birmingham.
• Cover hands-on Mechanical Maintenance and Fluid Power training.
• Support learners and assess progress in practical settings.

We are working with an education provider in the Birmingham area who are looking for an Engineering Trainer (Fluid Power) to join their engineering training team on a full‑time, permanent basis.

The job role would consist of delivering workshop‑based training to Mechanical Engineering learners (up to level 3) at the provider's dedicated engineering training centre in Birmingham. The training you would deliver would cover hands‑on Mechanical Maintenance and Fluid Power.

The training provider is offering a starting salary of up to £40,000 per annum for this position, which would also include:

• contributory pension
• health plan (including dental and optical contributions)
• 34 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
• early finish on Fridays (1pm)

Eligibility:

• A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Hands‑on maintenance/fluid power experience
• Over 6 years of post‑apprenticeship industry experience
