Job summary

Alloyed is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance of manufacturing and laboratory equipment at the Yarnton facility, near Oxford. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement to keep production reliable and safe.

The role requires practical experience across mechanical and electrical systems, with an ability to read schematics and engineering drawings, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience planning and carrying out preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair faults and respond as first point of contact for breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification and relocation of equipment.
• Work from schematics and technical documentation to support fault finding.
