Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to keep manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably in a 24/7 operation. The role covers a broad range of mechanical and electrical systems with reactive fault-finding and planned maintenance, plus opportunities for continuous improvement.

You will work on a rotating day shift (6am–2pm and 2pm–10:30pm, Monday to Friday) at the Eynsham site, with potential support for the Bicester facility as launch

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
• Commitment to health and safety and risk assessment.
• Ability to plan safe repair solutions and lead TPM initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to equipment and facility failures to restore safe operation.
• Take ownership of equipment start-up/shut-down and ensure parameters are met.
• Monitor facility systems and record performance data for analysis.
• Deliver planned maintenance activities and TPM initiatives.
• Update the maintenance system after work is completed.
• Perform routine checks including vibration analysis and inspections.
• Work safely and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Manage local spare parts for availability and cost control.
• Apply structured problem-solving to prevent recurrence.
• Support simple PLC modifications or mechanical design improvements.
• Analyze equipment data trends to suggest improvements.
• Provide advanced technical support and collaborate on complex issues.
