Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer at a large-scale food manufacturing site in Middlesbrough, offering a 4 on/4 off days and nights pattern.

You will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, respond to faults, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring production stays online.

Experience in a multi‑skilled maintenance role and a recognised engineering qualification are preferred; transport is advantageous.

Formación

• Experience in a maintenance engineer or similar role.
• Recognised engineering qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 4 on/4 off days and nights rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain production equipment and respond to faults across the site.
• Mechanical and electrical fault‑finding.
• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Record maintenance activity and corrective actions on the CMMS.
• Support reliability and continuous improvement projects.
• Identify and address repeat failures.
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
