Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, 24/7 manufacturing operation in Sandwich. The role covers preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, fault diagnosis, and breakdown repairs to maximise uptime.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of multiskilled maintenance experience, with hands-on work on machines up to 440V, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Includes 4-on/4-off shifts, overtime and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a multiskilled maintenance engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding skills with engineering principles in mind.
• Experience with industrial machinery, production equipment, motors and drive systems.
• Experience with installations up to 440V, including control and safety circuits.
• Proactive approach to preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and problem-solving.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritise repairs and respond to breakdowns.
• Good communication skills to work with other departments.
• Commitment to safe working practices, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Carry out PPM across production machinery and plant equipment to maximise reliability and uptime.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime.
• Fault-find and repair equipment operating up to 440V, including control and safety circuits.
• Diagnose faults across AC/DC motors, variable speed drives, sensors, actuators, switches, relays and other electrical components.
• Investigate recurring failures, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent repeats.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings and manuals to support fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Carry out inspections and routine checks to identify potential failures before they arise.
• Support machinery modifications, installations and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed in accordance with health and safety procedures, including lock-off.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prioritise tasks with production teams.
