Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Middlesbrough is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role operates on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (days and nights) with hours from 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, offering a salary up to £48,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include fault-finding on mechanical/electrical systems, carrying out PPMs and repairs to high standards, and ensuring all actions are documented in the CMM system.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
• Relevant industry qualifications.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Food industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and fault-find mechanical/electrical breakdowns.
• Performing PPMs and repairs to high engineering standards.
• Ensure corrective actions are recorded on the CMM system.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with good analytical and reporting skills.
• Build strong relationships with site functions.
