Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd are delighted to present a role for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Wigston, Leicester. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and delivering planned preventative maintenance to keep site machinery running smoothly.

You will work a LEN Shift pattern (Days, Afternoons & Nights rotation) within a leading industrial manufacturing environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and training development.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical fault-finding in manufacturing.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on site machinery.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Non Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
