Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across Bristol, the South West and Wales. You will perform PPM, reactive maintenance and basic building services across multiple sites.

This role requires travel between sites, fault-finding work on electrical and mechanical systems, and keeping accurate maintenance records in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical building services with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations desirable.
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel across Bristol, the South West and Wales.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Electrical maintenance, fault-finding and minor installation works.
• Lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.
• Testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Basic mechanical maintenance, including pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs.
• Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance.
• Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.
• Complete routine plant and equipment checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.
• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.
• Travel between sites across Bristol, the South West, South Wales and West Wales.

Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer – Commercial Sites – Bristol / South West & Wales – Up to £45,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across Bristol, the South West, South Wales and West Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.

Hours & Package:

• Salary up to £45,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday – 08:00–17:00
• Call-out rota – details to be confirmed

Requirements:

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled building services experience
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to travel across the required area
