Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a 3 shift rotation at their West Midlands facility. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response to keep production lines running.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience, be apprentice-trained if possible, and able to read electrical and mechanical drawings. PLCs and robotics knowledge is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience minimum in maintenance engineering.
• Apprentice trained preferred.
• Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs and robotics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on site.
• Provide mechanical and electrical breakdown cover across the plant.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Support PLCs and robotics systems on the manufacturing line.

Maintenance Engineer - 3 shift rotation

A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of a Maintenance Engineer.

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work in line with the schedule and processes.

Working from their manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Mechanical/electrical breakdown cover for all activities on site
• Ability to read and understand both electrical and mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of PLC's
• Knowledge of Robots

The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years experience and apprentice trained preferred.
