Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Stonehouse, England, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve cutting-edge production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose faults, lead shift-based problem solving, deliver cost-effective improvements and coach operators on asset care; a recognised engineering apprenticeship and multiskilled capability are required.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical/electrical bias with multiskilled capability.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, front-line reactive maintenance and get equipment back into service quickly.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead shift-based problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-effective improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach operators on asset care tasks and collaborate as part of a high-performing team.
