Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading UK manufacturer in Droitwich. The role offers a 4 on 4 off pattern (2 days & 2 nights, 7-7) with a salary band of £45,000 to £52,000.

You will work on cutting-edge production equipment, focusing on reliability, problem-solving and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has an engineering apprenticeship and substantial manufacturing maintenance experience, with a mechanical/electrical bias and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical/Electrical bias with multiskilled capability.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, front-line reactive maintenance and get equipment back into service quickly.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead shift-based problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-effective improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach operators on asset care tasks and collaborate as part of a high-performing team.
