Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious manufacturer with multiple UK sites. You will join a well-established maintenance team and support fault finding, maintenance and repairs on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.

The role emphasises planned maintenance, capital expenditure activities, and leading breakdown responses across the plant. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is desirable, with PLC experience a bonus and strong development

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is desirable.
• Mechanical or electrical biased maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance engineer in manufacturing/engineering is required or desired.
• PLC experience would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and maintenance support on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Work on electrical/electrical/mechanical machinery across the plant.
• Adhere to planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Engage in capital expenditure activities.
• Lead breakdowns and repairs across the plant.

Following their recent investment they are looking for a Multi Skilled maintenance engineer to join their well-established maintenance team, The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers brilliant stability as well as internal and external training courses on specific manufacturing equipment together with a realistic chance to develop within the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and maintenance support on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Working on a range of electrical / mechanical equipment and machinery
• Adhering to planned and preventative maintenance schedules
• Capital expenditure activities
• Lead breakdowns and repairs across the plant.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering is desirable
• Mechanical or Electrical Biased maintenance engineers are desired
• Experience working as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing / engineering company.
• Any PLC experience would be a bonus.
• Looking for an individual who is keen to develop their skills and progress their career.
