Overview

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work Monday to Friday and keep their weekends free. Well-known manufacturers are looking to recruit a maintenance engineer and are ready to hire immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will join an experienced and supportive team with a strong track record. You will be a key team player in ensuring the factory runs efficiently and production levels are maintained.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer

• Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
• Working on electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
• Participating in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
• Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
• Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field
• Experience in a multi-skilled role involving mechanical and electrical engineering
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, preferably in manufacturing
