Stirling Warrington Limited is seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer for our 24/7 operation in Loughborough. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance in a busy site, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (days/nights).

You will improve CMMS usage, reduce downtime and support safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong maintenance skills, good communication and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Proven multi-skilled engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance capabilities.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with shift patterns, including night shifts.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Maintain machinery, equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and implement preventative maintenance.
• Investigate and diagnose causes of breakdowns and faults, ensuring repairs are recorded for trend analysis.
• Manage the safe and efficient use of materials including consumables and chemicals.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain and improve engineering systems such as CMMS, KPIs, shift handovers, audits, and safety reviews.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party engineering contractors on site.
• Safeguard the wellbeing of all site personnel.

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with either bias to join a busy, 24/7 operation.

About You

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance capabilities including control systems and utilities
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and their practical application
• Knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience working shift patterns, including night shifts, ideally on automated sites
• Excellent communication skills with a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and challenging situations calmly and efficiently
