Job summary

Saverto Holding GmbH is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in the United Kingdom. You will work with electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventative and reactive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role includes rotating shifts and a focus on safety, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and KPI achievement. A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Experience in maintaining complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical and/or mechanical qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventative maintenance to ensure safe, clean equipment.
• Diagnose faults to minimize downtime and rectify issues promptly.
• Manage engineering stock and tools, ensuring proper storage.
• Control consumables and maintain safe storages.
• Health and Safety is the highest priority at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Meet KPI targets set by Operations and Engineering Managers.
• Maintain site facilities.

Job description

A Multi-skilled maintenance engineer who is qualified in an electrical and/or mechanical discipline (mechanical bias would be preferred). They have experience in maintaining complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. The role consists of both preventative and reactive maintenance.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Shift pattern: Rotating shifts between 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm. Occasional Saturdays.

Your Tasks

• Effectively planning and carrying out preventative maintenance procedures within the framework, ensuring all equipment is safe to run and is cleaned to the highest possible standard. Preventative maintenance is the main driver for with role.
• Equipment downtime must be kept to an absolute minimum through timely and thoughtful fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Maintain Engineering Stock Control completing regular audits, ensure all engineering tools are well maintained – correctly stored and kept clean to the highest of engineering standards.
• Manage all engineering consumables to ensure all are adequately supplied and stored in the appropriate and safe storages.
• Health and Safety will be your highest priority at all times.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement and development projects
• Responsible for delivering KPI targets set by the Operations and Engineering Managers.
• Effective up-keep and maintenance of site facilities.
