Job summary

Probe UK is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to support the existing team with day-to-day operations and the expansion of plant and the installation of new machinery. The role is on a Monday to Friday day shift, with potential for a future continental day role and shift premium.

You will service and maintain plant, attend breakdowns, support production optimisation, install new equipment and carry out PPMs.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Electrical qualification required.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Hydraulic experience advantageous.
• Plastic injection moulding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Days (Mon–Thu 08:30–17:00, Fri 08:30–16:00).
• Service and maintain plant and machinery.
• Attend machinery breakdowns.
• Support ongoing production optimisation.
• Install new machinery.
• Carry out PPMs.
• Continuously improve production processes.

Job description

Due to massive expansion and investment my client is looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to support the existing members of the maintenance team with day-to-day operations and the expansion of the building and the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

My client is looking for an electrically trained maintenance engineer to join their team on a Monday to Friday day shift. This role may in the future change to a continental day role (shift premium will be added to salary). Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Days (Mon - Thurs 08:30am - 5:00pm, Fri 08:30 - 4:00pm).
• Service and maintain plant and machinery.
• Attend machinery breakdowns.
• Support ongoing production optimisation.
• Installation of new machinery.
• To carry out PPMs.
• Continuous improvement of production processes.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Apprentice trained. (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Electrically qualified.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 18th edition.
• PLC experience (preferable).
• Hydraulic experience.
• Plastic injection moulding experience (preferable).

This Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from: Telford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Codsall, Wombourne, Shifnal, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas.
