Job summary

Probe UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a large, well-established operation near Wolverhampton. You’ll support the engineering team with high-quality maintenance across a modern site, on continental shifts, contributing to reliability and performance.

This role offers strong development, a clear progression path, and a collaborative environment that values safety and teamwork. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained with recognised electrical qualifications.
• 18th edition advantageous.
• FMCG experience preferred.
• Strong fault-finding capabilities.
• Health & Safety / Food Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Continental shift pattern 2 days 2 nights.
• Planned and Reactive maintenance.
• Ensure smooth running of the plant and machinery.
• Manage and supervise sub-contractors on site.
• Identify and procure critical plant spares.
• Monitor electrical and mechanical systems performance.
