Pioneer Selection Ltd in Boston, Lincolnshire is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery, with a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift and a strong salary of £52,000.

You will work with engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability, carry out PPM, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or related engineering role.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or FMCG environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Comfortable with 4 on 4 off Day/Night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Complete engineering documentation and maintenance records.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
• Support engineering projects and equipment improvements where required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Boston area. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern.
