Job summary

Orion Electrotech is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive continuous improvement, reading electrical and mechanical drawings and using a CMMS. Salary up to £47k, full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering - ideally electrical.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Understanding of PLC logic and automated systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair, fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a wide range of automated production equipment.

Working closely with production teams, you will ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operating at optimum performance levels.
