Job summary

bbe Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for our client in Gravelly Hill, UK. This hands-on position supports production by performing planned and reactive maintenance, leads continuous improvement projects, and provides technical support across the maintenance function.

The role involves fault-finding on automated equipment, preventative maintenance, assisting with new installations and mentoring engineers to keep downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with CNC machinery, PLCs, servo motors and drives.
• Fanuc robot experience and ability to read electrical drawings.
• HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to support production by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, leading continuous improvement projects and providing technical support across the maintenance function.

Working on automated production equipment, you'll be responsible for fault finding, preventative maintenance, supporting new machine installations and mentoring fellow engineers while ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.

The Ideal Candidate

* Minimum 10 years' maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

* Experience with CNC machinery, PLCs, servo motors and drives.

* Fanuc robot experience and the ability to read electrical drawings.

* HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
