Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and inverters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on key equipment following schedules.
• Provide PPM and reactive maintenance to optimise plant availability.
• Fault finding both Electrical and Mechanical.

Rischer and Butler are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company. Innovation and dedication within their manufacturing processes, has put this company at the forefront of the industry.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within the operation.

Key responsibilities:

• Keeping to specific schedules and carrying out maintenance on key equipment
• Providing both PPM and reactive maintenance
• Optimise plant availability for production
• Fault finding both Electrical and Mechanical
• Upholding a high level of Health and Safety across the facility

Experience:

• Time served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, inverters, motors, AC/DC and parker drives is preferred
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Proactive approach to following up root cause analysis
