Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading manufacturing site in Scotland. The role focuses on keeping production running efficiently across a modern facility, performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement projects.

The position is on-site, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £60,000 per annum plus overtime and opportunities to contribute to uptime improvements and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
• Maintain a range of production equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated machinery.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Assist production teams with machine faults, changeovers, and equipment set-ups when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
