Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an established manufacturing business in the Boston area. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery, improving reliability and reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
• Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability.
• Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with production teams to keep equipment operational.
• Maintain engineering documentation and maintenance records.
• Uphold high Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Support engineering projects and equipment improvements as required.

Maintenance Engineer

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: £52,000
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Boston area.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Complete engineering documentation and maintenance records.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
• Support engineering projects and equipment improvements where required.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern.
