Job summary

Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing) position in the Old Leake/Boston area. £50,000 - £54,000 plus overtime, training, progression, and OTE £60,000. You will join an established food manufacturing business and work a 4-on, 4-off pattern to maintain and improve FMCG production equipment.

The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and optimizing equipment reliability. NVQ Level 3 would be advantageous for progression within a growing site near Boston, Lincolnshire.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment.
• Fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPM.
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm-7:00am, days and nights.

Do you have a mechanical or electrical engineering background within a manufacturing environment? On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established food manufacturing business based near Boston, Lincolnshire. The company has invested heavily into its operations and infrastructure and is now looking for engineers to help support continued growth, modernisation, and improvement across the site.

In this varied role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment, You will diagnose breakdowns, minimise downtime, complete maintenance records, and work closely with production teams to improve reliability, safety, and equipment performance.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience who is looking for a 4 on 4 off shift role, ongoing training, overtime, and the chance to develop within a growing FMCG manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment
• Fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPM
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am

The Person:

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, or similar
• Experience with FMCG, manufacturing, production machinery, or packaging equipment
• Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified
