Job summary

Hireful is seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist manufacturing site situated midway between Huntingdon and Peterborough. You will take responsibility for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring plant and equipment stay in peak condition to keep production moving and minimise downtime.

The role offers a hands-on mix of electrical and mechanical tasks, including PLC fault finding, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement on the site.

Qualifications

• Experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep production running.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLCs and related automation hardware.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep plant and equipment in top condition.
• Perform routine and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise production.
