Job summary

TipTopJob in Hull is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for night shifts. This role offers a salary of £49,500 plus overtime and benefits, with a 4 on 4 off schedule from 6pm to 6am.

The successful candidate will maintain machinery, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned maintenance during production hours, while the on-site engineer handles facilities work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Mechanical bias or multiskilled background.
• Background in manufacturing, facilities or field service.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineer required for an industry leading and growing food manufacturer. The business is committed to developing and upskilling their engineering team.

This role would suit mechanically biased or multiskilled engineers with a NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). As well as experienced production focused engineers, this role would also suit candidates with a background in facilities or field service looking for an opportunity to move into manufacturing.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance on machinery during production hours of 6pm until 12am, and from 12am to 6am the Maintenance Engineer can expect to work as the sole engineer on site, carrying out planned maintenance activities and facilities work across the factory.
