Job summary

ATA Recruitment are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a large-scale FMCG manufacturing site in Erith. You will maintain and improve high-volume production equipment, ensuring downtime is minimized and production targets are met.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), a salary around £52,500+ with private healthcare and overtime at 1.5x. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 electrical or mechanical qualification and strong fault-finding skills.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a large-scale FMCG manufacturing environment?

ATA Recruitment are currently working with a well-established, market-leading food manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK. Due to continued investment and growth within the business, they are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a high-volume production facility, ensuring machinery and equipment remain operational and production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reactive and Planned Maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Diagnosing faults on production machinery and equipment
• Minimising machinery downtime and improving equipment reliability
• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Working safely and in line with site procedures

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:
